Rebecca Mooney
About
Rebecca Mooney is a disputes and litigation lawyer with over 30 years experience in legal practice. A solicitor, and called to the bar of England & Wales, Rebecca practises as a consultant partner with London firm Kingsley Wood.​ She also works as an independent consultant on international law matters. Rebecca's practice includes international and cross border commercial disputes, arbitration, insolvency litigation, regulatory and compliance matters, public and private international law, fraud, corruption, and "universal jurisdiction" investigations into international crimes. As an independent legal consultant, Rebecca undertakes a range of work on human rights issues, public international law, and investigations and representations to prosecuting authorities in respect of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other grave international crimes. Rebecca is a charitable trustee and non-executive director on the board of various non-profit organisations. ​ Rebecca has been a Solicitor advocate in England & Wales since 1995 and was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in 2019. Rebecca holds a Doctorate and a Masters from the University of Oxford, and a BA/MA from the University of Cambridge. ​ Rebecca was previously an associate fellow and lecturer in law at the University of Oxford, where she undertook her doctorate and post-doctoral research.
